I have already downloaded a collection of 15 different psx bios files from EmuParadise, but it's missing the 5501 bios. Whatever the case, the PSX BIOS 5501 is just a BIOS file. The SCPH5501.bin is also rarely known as the PSX BIOS 5501, to make it clearer to those who do not understand the point. i believe this is for North American games. In most cases, the file comes when you buy the console but sometimes, it just escapes. I read around that Mednafen only reads bin/cue images, and that it requires the SCPH-5501 bios file. scph5500.bin scph5502.bin and scph5503.bin are in the Bios folder and all seems fine and recognized now I only have to take care of SCPH1001.BIN (checksum ok) and Ive read everywhere that the file was case sensitive so I renamed it scph1001. The SCPH-9002 is actually just a SCPH-7002. The SCPH-7003 is actually just a SCPH-5501 V3.0A. The SCPH-5003 is actually just a SCPH-1001 [MD5 CONFIRMED BY BAD_AD84).
